Gupta Empire, gold dinar of Kumara Gupta I (415-450 AD), 'Horseman' type, S. Kumar Class I variety C, 8.66g. Obv: King with wig like hair, riding on a beautifully caparisoned slender horse to right without saddle, presumably bare bodied and tucked dhoti with high boots. Legend: Prithivitalambarasasi Kumaragupto Jayatyajitah - The unconquered and invincible Mahendra, who is a moon in the sky of Gupta family is victorious. Rev: depicts the goddess sitting along on a wicker stool and feeding a peacock. Legend: Ajitamahendra along flan edge from 2 o' clock. Estimate
