Archaic silver punch-marked coin - Ghagra-Gandak River Valley region, 'Narhan hoard' type, (c.400-350 BC), double Karshapana standard, similar to Rajgor 523 (attributed to 'Shakya Janapada'), 6.71g. Obv: Single deep punch of a symbol consisting of crescents and lines with many small ancillary symbols punched around. The coin shows signs of weight adjustments by adding a small lump of metal before the central punch was applied. Rev: Blank.
