Matsya kings of Oddadi (Chhattisgarh / Odisha) - anonymous gold punch-marked gadyana, (c.11th-12th century AD), unpublished so far, 4.08g. Obv: A large punch in the centre, composed of a temple-like device, flanked by sun and moon with three-letter Kannada legend Shri Si/ Ri Va /Da. Three punches at 9, 12 and 3 o'clock orientation to this punch - 1x Kannada letter Shri, 1x a swan-like bird in profile and 1x a dynastic emblem consisting of a sword, sun and moon with two fishes flanking the sword. Seventeen punches along the outer rim, consisting of a stylized lotus (x8), a floral design floral (x4) and a floral scroll (x5). Rev: Repousse impressions of some obverse punches.
