Kidarite Huns - gold dinar in the name of Kushano-Sasanian king Varahran Kushanshah, (c.350-365 AD), scyphate fabric, Göbl 724, 7.75g. Obv: King wearing Sasanian dress and crown with ribbons, carrying a sword and holding trident, standing left, making an offering at a fire altar; filleted trident to left, Kidarite tamgha in right field and crude Bactrian legend BOGO OROURONO OOZORKO KOShANO ShAO around. Rev: Traces of Siva standing with bull Nandi behind, holding trident and diadem, weakly struck as is normal for this type. Estimate
