Pre-Vijayanagara period (1250-1300 AD), base gold Hon from south Karnataka/west Andhra region, possibly issued by the Telugu Chodas of Nellore, 3.37g. Obv: Garuda walking to right partly visible. Rev: Kannada legend Danava/Murari/Bantaru in three lines. Similar to MCSI 283-285 (attributed wrongly to Someshwara IV Chalukya). Estimate
