Karnataka, Tamilnadu borderlands, unattributable and uninscribed copper ¼ cash (2), most likely a Polygar issue struck during the Chandragiri Rajya period (1570-1630 AD), not listed in Ganesh or Mitchiner. (A) 0.68g. Obv: Ornate Chakra (a Vaishnava symbol). Rev: Ornate Sankha (a Vaishnava emblem). (B) 0.77g. Obv: Turtle representing the second incarnation of Vishnu. Rev: Kannada legend in two lines, tentatively restored as Veera/Raya. (2 coins) Estimate
