Obv: King standing facing left wearing a tunic, with a sword hanging by his waist, shooting an arrow with a strung bow towards a lion of equal proportions leaping at him, standing on his rear legs, traces of brahmi legend Naredrachandra Prathita Rano… to the right. Rev: Goddess seated in Sukhasana posture above the back of a majestic lion facing left, holding a lotus in one hand and a diadem in the other, brahmi legend Simhavikramah partly visible to the right and a tamgha in the left field. |
