Gupta Empire, 'Chandra Gupta III' (c. 500-550 AD), Gold heavy Dinar, 'Archer'-type, Altekar Class II Var. C, 8.48g. Obv: king standing with bow in one hand and an arrow in the other. Brahmi legend Chandra below his hand holding the bow. A Chakra (wheel) to the left of his head. Rev: Goddess Lakshmi seated on lotus, holding a lotus in one hand and a noose in the other. Tamgha in the left field, Brahmi legend Sri Vikramah partially seen on her right. Estimate
