Gupta Empire, gold Dinar of Chandra Gupta II (375-415 AD), 'Archer' type, S. Kumar variety 'O', 7.78g. Obv: nimbate king, facing with head turned to left, holding a strung bow in his left hand at its central grip with the bowstring facing outwards; Brahmi legend Chandra to the right of the bowstring and Deva Shri Maharaja… in exergue. Rev: nimbate Lakshmi seated cross-legged on lotus, holding lotus in left hand placed on her knee and a diadem in the right; Brahmi legend Shri Vikramah to right and Tamgha in left field. Estimate
