Obv: Nimbate king, wearing skull-cap and short Dhoti, seated bare-bodied, on a high-backed throne (Manchaka) playing a seven-stringed lute; Brahmi legend Maharajadhiraja… Gupta around. Rev: Nimbate goddess, seated in profile on a wicker-stool, holding cornucopia in one hand and a noose or diadem in the other; royal standard (Rajadanda) to the right and Brahmi legend Samudraguptah in right field, Tamgha is absent.
