Maharathis of the Sidaka family, Banawasi-Chandravalli-Shimoga region, Central Karnataka, Lead unit, (Similar to MCSI-I 71 but different reverse), (c. 150-200 AD), 20.30g. Obv: Bull facing left, Brahmi legend beginning at 6 o'clock and running clockwise around Sidakana Kalalaya Maharathisa. Rev: Composite insignia with bold six-arched hill surmounted by crescent above, triangle-headed standard to left, bold Nandipada to right; wavy line below the hill and traces of two Swastikas - one left-handed and the other right-handed - below the wavy line.
