Group 7: Coins of other rulers similar to 'Sebaka' issues Coins of King Kukutakhāda (कुकुटखाद) The name 'Kukutakhada' refers to the cult of Skanda in ancient Maharashtra. It is a composite of 'Kukuta', meaning cockerel and 'Khāda', derived from Skānda स्कांद in Sanskrit, meaning a follower of Skanda. Some of these were first reported by A H Siddiqui as coins of the Vakatakas. But P P Kulkrani later corrected this attribution in light of fresh finds from the 'Pusad' aggregate.Obv: Bull walking to right, triangle-headed standard behind, Swastika above the hump; Brahmi legend Ramño Kukutakha…above.
