Gupta Empire, Vishnu Gupta (470-500 AD), Gold Dinar of 'Archer' type, Altekar p. 280, 9.04g. Obv: Nimbate king standing, wearing a tunic, holding a strung bow in one hand and an arrow in the other; a 'Garuda' standard with rounded base to his left, Brahmi legend Vishnu below the arm holding the bow and traces of letters along the margin. Rev: Goddess Lakshmi seated cross-legged on a lotus, holding lotus in one hand and a noose in the other; Tamgha in the left field and Brahmi legend Sri Chandraditya to right. Estimate
