Kushan-Derivative Coinage, Gangetic Valley (Varanasi-Allahabad area), Gold Dinara of 'Mashra' (c. 300-325AD), Goebl 578, 7.88g. Obv: king standing holding a 'wheel standard', offering sacrifice at an altar; trident in left field and Brahmi legend Mashra to the right of the standard. Brahmi letter 'Ga' below the king's arm. Rev: goddess seated holding cornucopia, crude Bactrian legend to the right and tamgha in the left field. Estimate
