Very fine, Rare.
Shams ud-Din Da'ud Shah II, son of Mohammad Shah II ruled between June 14, 1397 - Nov 15, 1397. He was installed on the throne by Taghalchin, a Turk noble of low origin, who was then made the Malik Naib and Mir Jumla by the Sultan. Taghalchin tried to persuade Shamsuddin to imprison Firoz Shah and Ahmad Shah and asked the king's mother to have them executed. On hearing of the conspiracy the two brothers fled to Sagar. Firoz Shah proclaimed himself king and made his younger brother Prime Minister. He attacked Gulbarga and killed Taghalchin. Daud II was blinded and allowed to move Mecca. He died in 1414 AD at Mecca.
