Maratha Confederacy, Ghorpades of Gutti - anonymous copper cash attributed to Murar Rao Ghorpade (1750-1775 AD), struck at Venkatagiri, unlisted in major publications, 1.02g. Obv: five-hooded serpent, symbolizing Subbaraya, the patron deity of the Ghorpade family. Rev: Devanagari legend Kile Ve/kata Gi(ri) in two lines, slightly obliterated because of die slippage.
