Archaic silver punch-marked coin - middle Ganges valley region, 'Jakhania hoard' type, traditionally attributed to 'Kasi 'Janapada under Kosala Janapada', (c.400-300 BC), ABBC configuration, Vimshatika standard, Rajgor series 58, no. 782, 4.71g. Obv: four punches in AABB configuration - 1. and 2. whorl with anticlockwise prongs, 3 and 4. '3-S' around a circle symbols. Rev: minor 'banker's marks' (one distinct and two smaller).
