Early medieval Maharashtra, Khandesh region - 'bull' type alloyed copper coin of 'Vishnukundin' fabric, attributed to a local Rashtrakuta dynasty (c.600-700 AD). 1.27g. Obv: Bull standing facing right, horizontal Brahmi letter Shri and lotus/sun symbol above. Rev: Crude representation of Kalasha (vase) placed on a pedestal with two lampposts flanking it.
