Ancient Malwa, post-Mauryan uninscribed die-struck coinage of the 'Ujjain' series - copper coin of Maheshwar area, (c.200-150 BC), PAIC 734, 5.98g. Obv: Horse cantoring to right in centre, tree in railing behind, wheel with arrow-spokes to right, river with fishes below, small 'Ujjain' symbol above. Rev: 'Ujjain' symbol with concentric orbs.
