Obv: Horse standing facing right, with a double strap around its neckand a crescent above its rump, on a platform with the sacrificial pillar, adorned with banners and ribbons, in its front; Brahmi legend Rajadhiraja Prthivimavi… above, Brahmi letter Si on top of a pedestal placed on the platform under the horse belly. Rev: Chief Queen in the guise of a goddess, standing on a lotus pedestal carrying a fly-whisk in her flexed hand, placed on her shoulder and the other hand hanging by her thigh. Brahmi legend Ashwamedha Parakramah in the right field and ritual needle or Soochi in the left. |
