The General Service Medal (1918), 'S. Persia' clasp, awarded to 3725 Sepoy Sankarappa Naicker. 41.85g. The obverse shows the bare effigy of George V. The reverse bears the standing winged figure of Victory in a Corinthian helmet and carrying a trident, bestowing a wreath on the emblems of the Army (the sword) and the Royal Air Force (the wings).
