Ancient Malwa - (A) uninscribed die-struck coins of the 'Ujjain' series with multi-symbol obverse, (c.200-150BC), Kothari type 77, 2.47g. Obv: 'Ujjain'-symbol in centre, rectangular pond with fishes below, tree-in-railing to right; traces of other symbols around. Rev: 'Ujjain'-symbol with concentric circles in orbs. (B) uninscribed die-struck coins of the 'Ujjain' series with 'seated goddess' obverse, (c.200-150BC), Kothari type 179, 3.97g. Obv: goddess seated in 'Yogic' position, traces of lotus below; other symbols vaguely visible around. Rev: 'Ujjain'-symbol with simple orbs. (2 coins) Estimate
