Group 3:

Coins in this category are with legends Raño Siri Sadakamnisa which are counterstruck on coins with the legend Raño Siri Sadavahanasa, listed above as 'General Type 1'. The counterstriking appears to be indiscriminate with no order maintained between which device (obverse / reverse) is stamped on which. This has given rise to the varieties listed hereunder. The overtype is characterised by a very close style of palaeography and the similarity of the general features with the undertype. Thus, it is appears that at a later instance, coins with the legend Siri Sadavahanasa were re-validated with a new legend and re-introduced into the circulation and there is no 'political statement' being made here. As king Satakani had a long reign, this is a plausible scenario.
The general description of the overtype is as follows:
Obv: Elephant with trunk upraised walking to right, Shrivatsa below its mouth and a tree with distinctly 'forked' leaves in a railing to right; legend Raño Siri Sadakamnisa above, with a distinct anuswara on Ka. Rev: Ujjain symbol, with concentric circles as orbs, one of which is modified as a Nandipada; symbols in the quadrants appear to be Shrivatsas and Swastikas, placed in diagonal alignment.
Varity A:

'Obverse-Obverse / Reverse-Reverse' counterstrikes.
Obv: Outlines of elephant and traces of legend visible; Undertype: Raño Siri Sada… Overtype: … Sadakamni(sa). Rev: Two 'Ujjain' symbols superimposed, 2.80g.
